The CHIST-ERA 2025 Project Seminar, organized under the framework of the CHIST-ERA initiative—which supports long-term, high-impact research in the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) across Europe—was successfully held on 8–9 April 2025 in Istanbul, Türkiye.
The seminar gathered nearly 100 international participants, including researchers involved in CHIST-ERA-funded projects and representatives from various European research funding organizations.
Throughout the two-day event, participants engaged in:
-
Project presentations,
- Panel discussions with leading experts,
- Poster sessions, and
- Networking activities aimed at fostering collaboration and the exchange of ideas.
The seminar served as a valuable platform not only for showcasing scientific results and best practices but also for exploring future research collaborations.
We are proud to share that our colleague Dr. Anca Delia Jurcut from UCD presented the TROCI project during the seminar, contributing to the vibrant discussions and underlining the importance of interdisciplinary and international cooperation in advancing ICT research.
CHIST-ERA (European Coordinated Research on Long-term ICT and ICT-based Scientific Challenges) plays a key role in strengthening the European Research Area, by promoting scientific excellence and encouraging partnerships across borders and disciplines.
